(That’s what she said)
My new rifle came today. I picked it up over in Gresham earlier. I’ve been fiddling ever since.
It’s a 16" DoubleStar DS4. I replaced the foregrip with a quad-rail setup. I’m still waiting for the optics to come in, but it’s going to be an A3 carry-handle sight, with just a simple 4x scope with flashlight (Maybe a laser. Totaly useless for someone like me, but fun none-the-less.)
I’ve been saving up for this thing for the last year-and-a-half, and finally got it! I can’t wait to head out to the woods, zero the sights and have some fun. In the mean-while it will just have to sit in the closet, with only my air-rifle to keep it company.
I’m planning on this being a gun for making future changes, and just experimenting with the AR platform in general. My wife isn’t into guns quite as much as me, but maybe someday I can build her one, too. She’s very petite, so I would love to put together something “fun-sized” for her. I hope to learn more about the gun-as-a-platform with this guy.
So, if anyone want’s to buy me some ammo and pay for my gas, drop me a line and I would love to come out to your farm or land and take care of any pesky rodent ploblems you might have! ;-)
